What is important when taking a good Interior Photo? 

THE LIGHT 

Good lighting makes a room appear larger, especially when the walls are white.

To create a good atmosphere, the time of day and the orientation of the property should be taken into account. A house facing east or west is best photographed at around 7 or 8 p.m. or 10 a.m. in summer, when the light enters the rooms more horizontally. 

When the rooms are very large, or for example it is a venue, Flashes can be used. The use of Flash is more complex, expensive and requires more experience, but the results with some retouching in post production, gives very professional effects.

THE CAMERA 

There are many types of cameras, and with the market continuously advancing technologically, there is a wide range of cameras that can be used. 

The choice of camera is influenced by many factors, such as the user's experience with them. More technical factors such as the number of megapixels, how they capture colours, how they capture light and shadows also play a role,

Cameras have lenses to enlarge the frame. Some of them are more expensive than the cameras themselves. 

For a real estate photographer, wide-angle lenses are used. They widen the frame and come closer to the human eye.

THE FRAMEWORK 

The frame in photography is the portion of space that the photographer is going to take.

For the Real Estate Photographer, this is important as we discard parts of the image that do not look good or are not relevant to selling the property, for example an area of the house that is not well lit or a family photograph that is irrelevant to the sale.
